Clients who contact an A4TD field training office will be served by staff who are well trained in all aspects of career counseling, knowledgeable of the local job market, and well-informed about local support services, training providers and other resources.
The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)
The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work-based job training program for older Americans. Authorized and funded by Title V of the Older Americans Act, the program provides training for income eligible, unemployed job seekers age 55+.
SCSEP participants gain paid work experience in a variety of community service activities at 501(c)(3) non-profits and public agencies. Their efforts help partner programs that make a big impact in local communities.

The Vermont Returnship Program
The Vermont Returnship Program connects employers with experienced workers who are looking for new opportunities. It is appropriate for individuals who left the workforce and would like to return, or those who are currently employed but would like to explore new opportunities.

Learn IT 2 Work: Improve Your Tech Skills
is a 4-5 day computer skills training program designed for job seekers, older adults and anyone needing basic computer skills. Participants learn about information technology (IT!) and how to use the computer for the most frequent tasks such as email, searching the internet and creating document. Attendees will complete the program with increased computer proficiency and improved skills.
