Located in Woodbury Connecticut 1754 House Inn, Restaurant & Tavern seeking Dishwashers. Positive attitudes and ability to work well with others a must.

Position Overview

To be a positive member of the team by keeping wares and work areas cleaned and organized.
Responsibilities
· Works automatic dishwasher and 3-bay sink, keeping chemicals at appropriate levels.

· Sorts, cleans, puts away and keeps organized service wares.

· Stocks storage areas, and keeps workspaces organized within company policies. Assists with receiving orders as needed.

· Keeps dish area, coolers and freezer, dry storage and any other areas clean and organized.

· Helps with other kitchen and inn duties including food prep and cleaning as needed.

· Works in accordance with all Federal, State and Local guidelines.

· Performs standard closing duties I.E removal of Trash, cardboard, sweeping, mopping and weekly cleaning duties.
Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Nights and weekends required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift

Weekly day range:

  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Dishwashers & Stewards: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
