Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, scheduling service appointments, and providing advice on vehicle maintenance. They may also set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled. 2 years experience a plus, but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information and provide them with accurate information about services and repairs.
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Inspect vehicles for signs of damage and wear.
  • Maintain customer records and update as needed.
  • Communicate with customers regarding any changes in service or repair costs.
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
  • Review multi-point inspection report

Requirements:

  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (7:30am-5:30pm)
  • Rotating Saturdays (7:30am-2pm)

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bennington, VT 05201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Preferred)
