Connecticut Stone Supplies, a leader in the stone supply industry for nearly 70 years, are currently seeking a full time Sales Representative to join their Showroom team in Milford, CT.

The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting store sales through effective sales techniques and delivering excellent customer service.

The position is based in our Showroom in Milford and may require occasional visit to job sites or external events. The ability to work 40 hours per week, including Saturday, is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provides quality customer service to customers and potential clients including assistance with purchases, accurate quotations and pricing, and providing relevant product information.

Builds and maintains an understanding of store product and price information to assist customer purchases.

Processes customer sales, including cash and credit card.

Ensures showroom is consistently neat, orderly and displays are organized.

Performs physical stock checks as required.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.

Education and/or Knowledge/Experience includes:

Prior sales experience and/or industry experience is preferred.

Excellent communication skills and high standard of professionalism.

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Basic math skills are required.

Experience of Microsoft office, including excel, google docs, gmail and payment processing systems is preferred.
