older workers age 55+. Over our 34+ year history, we have developed a
comprehensive continuum of services for mature workers and we are recognized
nationally as a leader in the field. We seek candidates to help administer and
execute an innovative and exciting workforce development project.
We have: An immediate opening for an experienced professional to join our team.
As a Regional Program Coordinator, responsibilities include coordinating program
activities throughout a multi-county area, ensuring that the mission, goals, and
objectives of the project are fulfilled, supervise and assist staff, recruit prospective
program applicants, develop training plans and work directly with program
participants to complete plans, identify and develop training and unsubsidized
placement opportunities for program participants, and develop community
partnerships. College degree preferred. Bi-lingual, Spanish preferred. Some work
related travel is required and reimbursed. Position will be based in either Clinton,
Jefferson, or St. Lawrence county.
We need: An individual with 3-5 years of relevant work experience; knowledge of the
local labor market areas and state workforce system; proficient in Microsoft Office
Suite products; excellent organizational, presentation, and communication (oral and
written) skills; team oriented yet capable of working in a self-directed workplace.
