The Provider Services Specialist has direct responsibility for the on-boarding process for all new permanent and temporary (Locum) Providers for the entire Guthrie System. This includes managing the credentialing, licensing, DEA, hospital privileging and orientation process. The Specialist works with new providers to assure that they are prepared to begin by their start date with Guthrie. The Specialist is also responsible for managing all new APP as well as all changes to current agreements. This position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks.
2 years of administrative experience, this ideally includes experience in a health care field. Background in medical staff credentialing helpful. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Computer, Microsoft Office software experience (i.e. Excel, Word) and general office expertise required. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management and staff. Must possess the ability to work independently and efficiently in a challenging environment.
