A sign on bonus of $3,000 is being offered to external candidates – paid out at 6 months ($1,500 less applicable taxes) and 1 year ($1,500 less applicable taxes) from hire!

The University of Vermont Health Network is now offering a Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with the Community College of Vermont (CCV). Pharmacy Technicians prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist, including measuring, mixing, counting out, labeling and recording amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders. This program will be hiring for full-time employees in both Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required. Trainee will obtain their Pharmacy Tech license with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy before the start of employment. They must achieve their National Certification within two years of their date of hire.

EXPERIENCE: / Pharmacy experience preferred or related work experience.
