Job Details

• High School Diploma
• Multi-line phone answering experience
• Ability to communicate with patients and guests including greeting them upon arrival, confirming identity and providing necessary information related to their visit
• Demonstrated experience working in a medical office environment
• Demonstrated experience with office productivity equipment (copying, faxing and scanning)
• Proficiency with MS Offices products and demonstrated keyboarding skills
• Experience with Medical Records systems a plus
• Strong customer service skills with both staff and customers/patients
• Must have flexibility to change schedule and possibly work some evenings, or some early mornings

Job Description:
• Responsible for checking patients in and out for their optometric visits
• Verifying and collecting insurance authorizations
• Scheduling appointments
• Answering incoming phone calls, as well as various administrative functions and computer input.
• Will be trained and able to work in both the front desk and call center department
