Job Details

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma
• Medical Office experience (preferred)
• 6 months of customer service experience (preferred)
Qualifications:
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and patients
• Ability to solve problems, or seek assistance from supervisor when necessary

Job Description:
• Completion of the MOA Academy program to learn the systems used
• Process required of the Medical Office Associate I at Penn State Health
• Achievement of minimum competencies, and MOA Certification
• Learn to provide front office support to clinical operations
• Work with a diverse patient population to ensure accuracy of patient intake, registration, payments, and scheduling
• Routinely answer phone calls and provide assistance to inquiries
• Must be detail oriented with good interpersonal and customer service skills
