New Haven Doggie daycare is looking for fun, high energy, and reliable team players! “Coachability” is an absolute must. Industrial or hospital cleaning experience a plus.

This position is very fast-moving, and includes but is not limited to:

Duties:
Cleaning Duties

Daily cleaning assignments which may include, but are not limited to vacuuming, mopping, taking out the trash, and cleaning the bathroom/kitchenette area
Outdoor cleaning which may include, but are not limited to sweeping, trash pick-up, weeding, minor repairs, painting, sanitizing the potty area, windows, power washing and snow blowing
Deep cleaning assignments which may include, but are not limited to scrubbing floors, walls, playscapes and kennels
Cleaning procedures involve the proper use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment and ability to read/follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)

Canine Interactions (after completion of 10-12 week training program)

Maintain control of dogs while walking them on potty breaks
Ensuring the dog kennels/crates are set up properly
Be aware of your environment at all times and consistently attend to the special needs of the dogs
Watch the dogs for any unusual behaviors or symptoms and recognize what is out of character for any guest

Qualifications

18 years of age or older with High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to interact in a positive way with all sizes, types, and breeds of dogs
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours)
Computer literate
Be a Team Player and come in each day with a positive attitude
Work with cleaning chemicals
Organized, hardworking, self-motivated, independent worker
