The Residence Inn by Marriott is seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and organized individual for a front desk reservation agent. Since the nature of our business is 24/7, flexibility in scheduling is required. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and be able to pay attention to detail. The individual must be able to multi-task and have an energetic and welcoming personality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Making reservations; answering phones and directing calls; filing; making copies; faxing and emailing; knowing local restaurants and the directions on which to get there; being able to place individual on phone on hold, and continue working with the person in front of you. The individual must be able to handle guest problems and be good at conflict resolution. The position requires basic math skills; the ability to work independently; excellent communication skills; and computer literacy.
Dress code includes wearing a nametag and the appointed blazer, blouse/dress shirt, and slacks. The shift is primarily within the hours of 3pm-11pm.
Job Type: Part-time
