Data Coordinator, Full Time, Non-Exempt

Associates for Training and Development (A4TD) is a nationally recognized workforce development non-profit that originated in 1983. A4TD administers job-training programs for mature workers in five states: CT, ME, NY, PA, and VT. We recognize the dignity and worth of our program participants and hold firm in the belief that mature workers have the right to contribute to their economic stability. When a program participant is offered a job consistent with their interests and abilities, we at A4TD are uplifted and energized to do it again with the next participant. The Job:
We have an immediate opening for a motivated and creative professional to join our team. The Data Coordinator serves a key role in our Data Team responsible for managing information and data within project compliance parameters. The job includes organizing files and collecting data to be entered into a VPN and database, processing program paperwork based on grant requirements, database management, and collection, analysis and reporting of data. Position is remote, with an option to work in an A4TD office. An applicant must reside in one of A4TD’s service areas (Connecticut, Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont).
Salary: $40,000-$45,00 per year

What you bring to the role:
Education: Associate’s Degree or higher in business or related field
Experience: A minimum of 3 years working with databases; previous knowledge of non-profit grant compliance regulations
Experience with database management and in transforming data into usable information
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
A self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction, while maintaining a commitment to teamwork and collaboration
Strong record-keeping abilities (making notes, maintaining organized files, etc.)
Communication skills: the ability to clearly and concisely communicate one-on-one both verbally and in writing; the ability to engage in active listening
Time management and organizational skills: ability to balance competing, time-sensitive priorities
Computer skills: Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in MS Office suite products including Word, Excel and Outlook, and PowerPoint; file management skills; online research skills
Authorization to work in the USA required.
