The Opportunity:

Country Paint & Hardware is a fast-paced environment with a commitment to creating excellent customer experiences. We treat our customers with kindness, striving to say “YES” whenever possible. We are a community hub and serve up to 400 customers per day. That’s a lot of opportunity to make an impact! We are growing our team of autonomous, independent thinkers who share our passion for excellence.

Although we are retail and open seven days a week, we close at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. You must be available to work one day every weekend which is non-negotiable. You will be home for dinner with your family!

This is an IN-PERSON position. We value relationships and connections.

Responsibilities:

• Direct store traffic flow (greet, expedite, escalate)
• Ring out customers quickly and accurately
• Maintain accurate customer database
• Maintain accurate inventory database
• Committed to excellent customer service
• Collect and maintain data for Loyalty Program
• Grow our email list
• Grow our community
• Identify opportunities for new products, new revenue streams
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized work space
• Adhere to deadlines
• Engage customers to determine best products for their projects
• Suggest new products and ideas to promote and merchandise them
• Communicate customer requests
• Continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity
• Maintain accurate inventory and well-faced, well-stocked shelves
• Suggest and participate in store events
• Physical strength to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Other projects as they arise
• Assist others as necessary
