Village Homes, a fast growing Modular & Manufactured Home Builder serving Vermont & New Hampshire, is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing Assistant Home Consultant / Customer Service Representative (CSR)
In this role, you will work closely with the Sales Consultants and the Sales Manager. Your primary duty is to support and assist your team with converting Modular & Manufactured Home construction “leads” into customers. You will field and help qualify incoming phone calls, internet inquiries, applications, and model home lot traffic on a daily basis. You will help your sales team assess the needs of prospective customers, and guide them through the purchase process. And you will perform key administrative and analytical duties in the office.
Applicants must have excellent attention to detail and would ideally have a background in industries such as Mortgage Lending, Real Estate, Construction and/or Finance. However, all professionals with customer service skills who are capable of learning efficiently should apply. Candidates should be comfortable in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Applicants must also be comfortable with learning emerging technology and using social media. This is a low pressure consultative support role where personable and trustworthy individuals will thrive.
Compensation will be a combination of salary plus commission.
DUTIES:
- Greet walk-in customers, answer sales related calls and respond to internet contact requests
- Lead follow-up/follow through
- New home plan conception/modification
- Contract/disclosure generation and management
- Assist with/manage customer bank finance process and closing process
- Interior design as needed
- Facebook/social media/website management
- Sales material management
- Office & display lot up-keep
- Assist with/manage parts sales, order placement and incoming deliveries
- General research & proactive projects as needed
- Other various general office duties
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail, strong written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Extremely customer focused, trustworthy and comfortable in sensitive and/or confidential situations
- Must be self-motivated, have strong work ethic and value integrity
- Capable of executing on priorities with at times minimal supervision
