Job Details

• Support the Mission Statement and values of the Village at Penn State.
• Recognize resident rights and ensure an atmosphere which will allow for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents in a safe and secure environment.
• Adhere to personnel policies as described in the Employee Manual.
• Responsible for handling all communications through the Concierge Center.
• Responsible for handling the responses of residents through the Tel-Tron system.
• Responsible for all incoming calls, directing calls to proper parties, taking and distributing messages.
• Greet and direct all visitors and residents appropriately. Assist those who have requests.
• Accept packages, logging packages, and notifying residents and staff of package delivery.
• Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Administrative Services and complete assignments in a timely manner or as required.
• Must possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and have a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the philosophy of the community.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance and demonstrate a courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner at all times.
• The ability to work under stress and to function effectively with interruptions.
• Must maintain good public relations with a positive work attitude in the work environment.
