Description:
Recovery Services (Wellness Program, Peer Support Department)
• Primary function of this position is to cover the downtown office/front reception desk as the first point of contact for clients, employees, and public. In addition, employee will provide backup coverage in other areas as needed and assigned. Demonstrates superior level of interpersonal skills and professionalism when interacting with clients, clients’ family, co-workers, outside agencies, insurance companies, and public.
• Greets and/or sign in clients and public. Responsible to open and close the office.
• Receiving and distributing incoming calls; taking messages and directing to respective employee(s).
• Will utilize Electronic Health Records system daily.
• Completes correspondence to patients and other agencies as needed; data entry of patient services; review fiscal documents and enter relevant information.
• Possess knowledge of HIPAA, program confidentiality standards and adhere to agency release of information guidelines, processes & maintains client and staff confidentiality at all times.
• Compiles intake packets for new clients. Distribute documents accordingly.
• Mail Distribution, faxing documents and authorizations.
• Receives and distributes incoming telephone calls and take messages as needed.
• Maintains inventory and orders supplies as needed.
• Provides clinical staff with various documents when needed.
• Tracks and maintains fire drill log and participates in ongoing in-service trainings.
• Other functions and duties as assigned. Qualified candidates will have at least one (1) year of clerical experience; high school diploma or equivalent. Advanced organizational skills, strong communication, written and multitasking skills, strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills, motivation, and the ability to work independent and/or as a team member.
• This position is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) benefited position, working Monday through Friday.
Qualifications: Candidates will have at least one (1) year of clerical experience; high school diploma or equivalent. Advanced organizational skills, strong communication, written and multitasking skills, strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills, motivation, and the ability to work independent and/or as a team member.
